About Us
Hi! My name is Kevin Cassidy and this is my wife, Tisa. We met in Los Angeles in 2006 working as tutors at a reading center. After dating for a year, we married; we now have two kids in middle school, one dog, one guinea pig, two chickens, and a gecko. We continue to work in education and love to spend our free time with anything outdoorsy.
Early on in our marriage, we heard stories of spouses who didn't see eye-to-eye financially. We wanted to make our marriage bulletproof, and over the years, we worked to create a system so both of us could be clear on our goals and spending. What we learned led us to create PennyText, our budget program.
Our mission is to help couples find financial solid ground, to "money-proof" their relationships.
